Updates on the landscaping

The Digger dude, Owen has been flat out leveling the property. It may seem a simple thing but getting the levels up has been a mammoth task.

This is pretty important for the garden and final look of the property, eventually of course planted out.

Whilst we put our landscaping plan on the blog ages ago I have reattached it. It will make more sense now.
The grey is the new house and the surrounding area equates to about 5 acres. The bottom of the page faces the sea and the top of the page faces the mountains

It has been a while, Xmas and all that blah blah

I know I know, it has been such a long time. Sorry to you all for my lack of ability to kep it up to date. Now that Xmas is over and things are progressing it is good to be able to update you all.

Well, since the last post we are well into the house and have been for months, great spending Xmas in the house and able to use the Kitchen etc. Rayburn in and heating the water is just fantastic!

I few photos from my phone and I will update more soon

With the house now done we start on the mammoth task of landscaping. It is a little hard to tell unless you knew it before but some of the pictures will give you the scale.

Plus we have another addition or two to the Hapuku Kitchen Family Serrano and Iberico..........Rare breed pigs

Day 1 as the digger rolled in, Jack is confused

Removal of all the old beds, we tried to save a lot but many were over 50years old
